These shoes are amazingly soft, more breathable than synthetic shoes for sure and the insole is so nice. I was surprised that they came off just the right size for me as I was expecting that, since I’d gone a size lower than I wanted, they’d come out a bit small and I was hoping they’d just about fit or stretch to my feet, but they fit really well, they had a lot of space for my feet, at first I thought maybe too much, but I think they’re just right! I’m usually a U.K. 5 and very occasionally I’m a U.K. 4 and I got an EU37. The rubber sole of the shoe is very flexible so I think they are much less likely to crease over time as well where your foot bends as you walk.
Just the feel of putting these shoes on was a pleasure, as they were immediately the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. No waring in required, just the bliss of pure comfort, a rarity in my shoe experience. So, I immediately bought another pair. Am very happy to have found a company making environmentally considerate shoes that are really well made and ultra comfy to boot. Many thanks to Waes.
Everything about the shoe and all the packaging is just exquisite. They are very special, so beautifully made and such special ethos behind them too, no plastic. Anyone fortunate to own a pair of Waes shoes really does have a treat and are so lucky.
I have wanted a pair ever since I read about them. Sadly my size wasnt available and I went down a size, but not long enough for me. So looking forward to owning my first pair! Hopefully not too long.
They come in a beautiful wooden box and also a fabric shoe bag is enclosed. Really worth the money. Enjoy all! A huge thank you to Waes for producing them and making them available for us all!
See previous review. In love, can't help it.
Just retrieved my shoes from having them weather proofed. Where form, philosophy, and function come together. Lovely fit, foot bed provides nice cushion yet with some of the characteristics of minimalist "barefoot" trainers. Overall the quality is ace in a brand one will be pleased to support.
Once their repairable life is over, our compostable shoes break down into organic materials in ordinary composting, but only long after they have served a long and useful life which outstrips most footwear.
100% Natural Rubber Outsole
Our unique natural production process uses hand-poured rubber, which is cured for a week, and creates an alveolar microstructure of tiny networked air bubbles for unrivalled comfort and 100% sustainable trainers.
100% Plastic Free
Our eco shoes and trainers contain zero plastic, from the factory to your door, and including the packaging. We only use planet-friendly materials and natural organic processes which prioritise sustainability.
Organic Nano Protection
The last thing you'd usually want to do is get sand on your shoes, but our nano quartz coating utilises quantum physics to protect your kicks and keep them looking box fresh. And of course, it's sand, so it's completely natural and allows the shoe to breathe.
If you are a half size, please go up a size.
